After spending the weekend at WonderCon, I’m still in major geek mode.  Comic books are strewn about the apartment, and I feel like drinking Mountain Dew and staying up all night.  Luckily, I do have SOME self control – and I’d like to stay in good shape so I can fit into a costume for the next event…

Anyway, after seeing all kinds of cool comic and sci-fi related t-shirts this weekend, I’ve  been looking for some that were a bit  more subtle.  So, if you’ll excuse me for one more post, I’m going to skip the funny and showcase something geeky – the Star Wars Rebel Symbol T-Shirt.  I like this t-shirt because it doesn’t necessarily tell the whole world you’re a Star Wars fan.  Most people will just see an odd symbol and move on (including a lot of less enthusiastic Star Wars fans).

I’m headed to San Francisco bright and early tomorrow morning for the 25th WonderCon.  If you’re not familiar with WonderCon, it’s basically a giant convention filled with awesome nerdy things – comic books, sci fi movies, people in strange costumes, etc.  I can’t imagine a better way to spring a warm spring Saturday in San Francisco

• Comic Book T-Shirts

I’m going to depart a bit from our usual t-shirt focus.  First off, let me just say that I like comics.  I think it’s adorable when a guy owns a couple pairs of boxers featuring his favorite comic or video game.   He should have some plainer ones, too, of course, but I’m not the kind of girl who’s going to panic because a guy has the man of steel all over his butt.

What I don’t get is why any guy would want “The Flash” underwear.  Seriously, who thought of this?  That’s not the message you want to send when people see your underwear.  Of course, they’d make a great gag gift…
