I’m not much of a baby person, but I certainly know my fair share of baby people. My sister recently had a baby, and I wish I had taken a look at these women’s t-shirts sooner. I would have gotten her the Baby Loading T-shirt, because that’s totally her kind of thing. For those who aren’t especially techy, it references those awful “loading…please wait” bars you see whenever you install a new program.

If you’re like me, you have at least one relative who is just nuts about Sudoku. I have several. Although I’ve gotten all of them Sudoku books on occasion, the “Beware, I Know Sudoku” T-Shirt would also make a great gift (to mix things up a little). I can just picture my 51-year-old mother wearing this t-shirt out on her day off and jabbering with half the older ladies she meets about how funny it is, and how awesome Sudoku is. Then, of course, they’ll all talk about what difficulty level of puzzles they prefer while bored companions tune out the conversation.
So there you have it – a slogan t-shirt that not only makes a great gift, but it brings people together. Does it get any better than that?

Years ago when I was a kid, there was a TV show called Square One TV, and that show contained a mini-show called “Mathnet”. Mathnet was all about solving crimes with math (sort of like a predecessor Numb3rs, but for kids). I can still clearly remember my favorite episode, which involved a parrot and the Fibonacci sequence.
For those who never learned it, the Fibonacci sequence is a sequence of numbers that starts with 0 and 1, and the next number in the sequence is always the sum of the previous two. So, it starts off with 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and so on. I love the Fibonacci: Easy as 1, 1, 2, 3 t-shirt because it’s kind of an inside joke among people nerdy enough to remember their math education.

I’ll admit, it took me a second to get the “I Mustache You A Question” Shirt. I read, “I Mustache You a Question,” but it wasn’t until the “But I’ll Shave it For Later” part that the first half really sunk in. I love that in a shirt.
I also love the old-timey barbershop feel of the I Mustache You a Question Shirt. It makes me think of ghost towns and grizzled sheriffs and showdowns at high noon. What about you? Would you wear it? Keep in mind, the I Mustache You a Question Shirt comes in both men’s t-shirts and women’s t-shirts. I wouldn’t recommend gifting it to a woman with a mustache, though. Stick with the hair-free, as they’re less apt to be sensitive to the topic.

It all started with Anne Rice. That saucy old gal brought vampires back in vogue in a huge way when her book, Interview With a Vampire, was released as a movie. Since then, it’s been a steady stream of vampire books and movies, and that trend has peaked in recent years with shows like True Blood and movies/books like the Twilight Series and Amanda Hocking’s best-selling Kindle books.
So yes, I’m sick of vampires. Aren’t you? I thought zombies might be our salvation, but lately they’ve been overdoing that, too.
Anyway, that explains why I so love the Orange You Sick of Vampires Yet Shirt seen below. Unfortunately, it’s only available in ladies’ sizing, but for those of us with lady parts, it’s a cute wardrobe option for going to school, working out, or running errands. I do not, however, recommend wearing the Orange You Sick of Vampires T-Shirt to a local Twilight showing. Unless you like being accosted by angry teenage girls and 20-30something housewives.

Ok, there. I said it. It’s not the writing, though. The writing isn’t lacking at all, and the whole Festivus thing is hilarious. I do get sick of all the “Happy Holidays” and “Merry Christmas” arguments. I get tired of worrying I’m going to offend someone by being too sensitive or not sensitive enough. After all, isn’t the whole point of the season to celebrate love and peace and all that crap?
So yes, I think Festivus is just swell. Fun fact, though – there’s actually a “real Festivus” and a “Seinfeld Festivus”. One of the Seinfeld screenwriters was the son of the guy who created Festivus, and you can buy his family’s book about the real deal.
If you’re anything like me, though, you’d rather wear it than read about it. I found this Festivus Shirt browsing around this week and I thought it was a good summary of the holiday, in shirt form.

Everybody remembers the Tim Allen show Home Improvement, right? And of course, if you watched the show, you remember the strange tool company, Binford Tools, that funded Tim Taylor’s show Tool Time. If you’ve ever watched the hilarious British comedy The IT Crowd, you’re probably very familiar with the line “Have you tried turning it off and on again?” In case you’re not familiar with it, the show focuses on 3 young people who work together in the IT department of a generic corporation in England. Two of the guys are geeks, forever put out by the incompetence of everyone else who tries to use a computer. The remaining employee is a ditzy red headed woman who’s constantly getting herself in trouble.
