I’ll admit it, I’m a huge comic book nerd.    By that I mean that there’s a sizable collection of comic books and graphic novels sitting in my apartment, and it’s not unlikely that I’ll know the basic storyline of most recent comics, even if they haven’t been made into a movie.  X-Men, though, is one that almost everyone knows – and for good reason.  The X-Men are awesome

• Comic Book T-Shirts

I can’t decide whether the Thor Costume T-Shirt is funny or not.  In some settings, it would just be silly (not that there’s anything wrong with that).  However, on the right person, and in the right setting, I feel like this one might have potential for true hilarity.  For example, put it on a scrawny nerd with the right attitude, and the muscle-bound chestpiece is pretty awesome.  On a douchey Jersey Shores kind of guy, though, I’m not sure I’d be as amused.

I’m headed to San Francisco bright and early tomorrow morning for the 25th WonderCon.  If you’re not familiar with WonderCon, it’s basically a giant convention filled with awesome nerdy things – comic books, sci fi movies, people in strange costumes, etc.  I can’t imagine a better way to spring a warm spring Saturday in San Francisco

• Comic Book T-Shirts

I’m going to depart a bit from our usual t-shirt focus.  First off, let me just say that I like comics.  I think it’s adorable when a guy owns a couple pairs of boxers featuring his favorite comic or video game.   He should have some plainer ones, too, of course, but I’m not the kind of girl who’s going to panic because a guy has the man of steel all over his butt.

What I don’t get is why any guy would want “The Flash” underwear.  Seriously, who thought of this?  That’s not the message you want to send when people see your underwear.  Of course, they’d make a great gag gift…
