I wasn’t allowed to watch Married…with Children when I was a kid.  My dad said it exemplified everything that was wrong with the country, and he didn’t want us kids to have any part of it.  I should point out that we were LIVING in a neighborhood of super low-income rednecks and white trash, so I saw that kind of thing on a daily basis – but I still think it was probably good that we got the message about that sort of lifestyle.

Anyway, now that I’m an adult and I can view such things with a little more perspective, I have to say…trashiness can be hilarious.  Anyone who has watched more than a couple episodes of Married with Children is probably quite familiar with the “No Ma’am” shirts they often wear for meetings.  Now, you can have your very own “No Ma’am” t-shirt.

Ever watch How I Met Your Mother?  I love the episode where Barney talks about rooting AGAINST Daniel and FOR the Cobra Kai.  Who does that??  Still, we can all appreciate Sensei Kreese’s immortal advice to “Sweep the Leg”.

I have a confession: I have an inappropriate love for Knight Rider.  I’ve seen all the episodes, multiple times.  If I had the time, I’d happily work on my own KITT replica car.  Up until now, I’ve resisted the urge to buy my very own “Don’t Hassle the Hoff” t-shirt…but I’m not so sure if I’ll be able to hold off on the “KITT Happens” t-shirt.

The only minor downside is that the Kitt Happens shirt only comes in unisex sizes.  I guess they didn’t foresee a lot of female interest in that one.  Still, it’s distressed, and those shirts are usually a little softer and suitable for either gender.

I can’t  be the only one who remembers The Beets and their “Killer Tofu” tour on the old Nickelodeon cartoon, Doug.  For a quick stroll down memory lane, check out the video below.  I can only imagine that wearers of the Killer Tofu shirt get a LOT of comments from fellow born-in-the-80s kids.

I’m still waiting on the “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” t-shirts, though.  That was my personal favorite, although I never thought they made quite enough unhappy endings.  But that’s another post for another day.  I’m going to be singing “Killer Tofu” in my head for quite a while now.
