I’m about to say something awful.  Don’t leave, though.  It gets better.   And yes, we’ll get to the Festivus shirt part of the discussion soon enough.

I don’t like Seinfeld.

Ok, there. I said it. It’s not the writing, though.  The writing isn’t lacking at all, and the whole Festivus thing is hilarious.  I do get sick of all the “Happy Holidays” and “Merry Christmas” arguments.  I get tired of worrying I’m going to offend someone by being too sensitive or not sensitive enough.  After all, isn’t the whole point of the season to celebrate love and peace and all that crap?

So yes, I think Festivus is just swell.  Fun fact, though – there’s actually a “real Festivus” and a “Seinfeld Festivus”.  One of the Seinfeld screenwriters was the son of the guy who created Festivus, and you can buy his family’s book about the real deal.

If you’re anything like me, though, you’d rather wear it than read about it.  I found this Festivus Shirt browsing around this week and I thought it was a good summary of the holiday, in shirt form.

Poor Clark Griswold.  He works hard all year and all he gets is a membership to the “Jelly of the Month” Club.  Sucks for him, but it’s hilarious when you put it on a t-shirt.  Christmas Vacation fans will definitely appreciate your style when you wear the Jelly of the Month Club T-shirt out during the holidays.

The only downside to the Jelly of the Month Club T-Shirt is that it doesn’t come in women’s sizes.  Even so, you can always go with a smaller size in unisex and wear it a little tight for a similar fitted effect.  I’m guessing there will be a lot more male buyers, anyway, though

• Funny Christmas T-Shirts

It’s been a few weeks now since the first stores started putting out Christmas products, so that means we’re still a few weeks away from the beginning of the holiday season for everyone normal.  For those of you who’d like to get a head start on things, I’ve found the perfect t-shirt – The Santa Claus T-Shirt.  Although the picture below shows it on a woman, they do have a mens’ version, too (order large so you don’t end up looking like the guy in the picture on their site!!)

Now, I wouldn’t call this a very authentic Santa experience, but the Santa T-Shirt should be more than enough to crack up friends, family, or coworkers.  Bonus points if you go slutty with it and add lace leggings and hooker makeup.
