I’ll admit – I don’t totally get the Angry Birds craze.  Sure, it’s an amusing game for a few minutes.  Yes, the birds are adorable.  I just can’t see myself playing it for hours and hours on end.   That said – I DID pay a little extra for the red Angry Birds Roku.  It’s cuter than the other Rokus because there’s a little angry bird on top.

As a kid, I spent many fun hours playing Zelda with my cousin.  We would alternate turns and yell at each other when the life meters got so low that they made that awful beeping sound.  These days, she’s expecting her own kid, but I’m still cool and single and gaming (ok so maybe the cool part is an exaggeration).  As such, I’m seriously considering adding the I Potion Zelda t-shirt to my wardrobe.   In fact, I’d buy it right now if I hadn’t blown this week’s t-shirt budget on a couple of Guild t-shirts.

I’ll admit it – I’m getting kind of old.  Not OLD old, but old enough to remember playing the NES as a kid.  Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt was my first Nintendo game, and I’ve always had a certain fondness for its pixelated awesomeness.

As a very satisfied bird owner, I love this Angry Birds Nerdy Birdy T-Shirt.  The funny part is that I’ve never actually played Angry Birds; I just like it because I think plump birds are adorable.  Oddly enough, my 86-year-old grandfather has his own iPad loaded with Angry Birds.  It’s a strange world we live in.

They just don’t make video games like they used to – like Space Invaders, Pac-Man, and Asteroids.  In fact, it’s rare in this day and age that you find a video game that virtually anyone can pick up a game and play it within 5 minutes.   Space Invaders was a fine specimen from that era, though, and it’s only fitting that it be memorialized on a t-shirt.

The Space Invaders T-Shirt is fun because people who get it will love it – and people who don’t will just be confused.  It’s also perfect for wearing out to hipster bars if you buy one that’s 3 sizes too small, pair it with a giant, ironic belt buckle, and accessorize with a cold PBR.  You know, if that’s your thing.  I would just buy the right size to begin with.
