T-Shirts Make Me Funny - Funny T-Shirts for All Your Self-Expression Needs

I was browsing Supergoodtees recently and looking for some new posting inspiration, when I came across a t-shirt that really hit home.  It was the Insomiacs Always Up For It T-Shirt.

I’m a major insomniac, which is actually kind of nice because it gives you more hours in the day and lets you use them to do fantastically productive things like earn high scores on Bejeweled, watch dozens of documentaries in a month, and rudely wake people up via text message at 3 in the morning.  Of course, that’s not the first thing that comes to mind when you see this shirt – but you can let people use their imaginations.

If you’re like me, you have at least one relative who is just nuts about Sudoku.  I have several.  Although I’ve gotten all of them Sudoku books on occasion, the “Beware, I Know Sudoku” T-Shirt would also make a great gift (to mix things up a little).  I can just picture my 51-year-old mother wearing this t-shirt out on her day off and jabbering with half the older ladies she meets about how funny it is, and how awesome Sudoku is.  Then, of course, they’ll all talk about what difficulty level of puzzles they prefer while bored companions tune out the conversation.

You almost never hear a guy boasting about how short he is or calling it cute, but short can really work for women.   This “I’m Not Short, I’m Fun Size” t-shirt celebrates the petite woman by comparing them to those delicious little candy bars that aren’t quite full-sized.  It would be a great conversation piece for a casual night out at the local bar, or a perfect gift for a size-challenged friend.

I’m always a fan of cheesy puns and picture-based humor. That’s why I find the Slow Jam T-Shirt to be so incredibly cute.  Instead of what we usually associate with “slow jam” (sexytime music), we get a couple slices of bread – one peanut butter, one jam – with the jam clearly falling behind the peanut butter.  Hence, slow jam.  Groan.

Unfortunately for the dudes, the Slow Jam T-Shirt only comes in sizes for us ladies (unless you’re a hipster and you like your shirts tight).  Also of note – the t-shirt is a poly-cotton blend and it’s a generous 25″ long (enough to prevent the dreaded muffin-top exposure for all but the very tallest of gals).

Ahh, jazz hands…so dramatic, yet so hilarious.  I don’t care if you’re a flamboyant gay theater junkie or a douchebag, polo-shirt-wearing frat guy – jazz hands are always a good idea (the only difference is whether you’re doing them seriously or not).  It takes a special kind of confidence to pull off the “I’ve Got a Case of Jazz Hands” t-shirt, but I strongly suspect the world in general will reward you with plenty of laughs for your bold shirt selection.  It would also be great for someone really into show choir or musical theater (though perhaps a little less humorous in those circumstances!)

I’ll admit, I literally LOL’ed when I saw the So Last Season Tree T-Shirt.  Seriously, that naked tree looks so adorable as the leafy tree tells him, “You are so last season.”

Of course, a chuckle alone isn’t enough to make me buy a t-shirt.  It has to look good, too.  Luckily, the “So Last Season” t-shirt pulls it off.  I adore the bold blue color of the t-shirt itself.  It’s one of those colors that flatters almost everyone, and it’s just dark enough to have a slight slimming effect on the wearer.  What do you think? I’ve always been a pretty good speller.  I never missed a “Perfect Speller’s Lunch” through school, and I make a living writing these days.  Even still, I can appreciate the Bad Spellers Untie T-Shirt (which, incidentally, would be decent for dyslexics, too).
